Σήμερα ξεκινά η διαπραγμάτευση των μετοχών της Cenergy Holdings, που προέκυψαν από την ΑΜΚ ύψους 200 εκατ. ευρώ. Τιμή διάθεσης τα 9 ευρώ για τις 22,222 εκατ. νέες μετοχές, με το 80% να κατανέμεται σε θεσμικούς επενδυτές.
Η προσοχή στρέφεται και στις Lamda Development και Trade Estates, καθώς υπέγραψαν προσύμφωνο για την πώληση του εμπορικού πάρκου «Retail Park» εντός του Commercial Hub στο Ελληνικό.
Οριακή πτώση -0,03% καταγράφει ο τραπεζικός δείκτης, ο οποίος διαπραγματεύεται στις 1.210 μονάδες. Ο FTSE 25 (υψηλής κεφαλαιοποίησης) παραμένει σχεδόν αμετάβλητος στις 3.457,97 μονάδες και ο Mid Cap (μεσαίας κεφαλαιοποίησης) χάνει -0,01% στις 2.299,26 μονάδες.
ATHEX headed north yesterday, outperforming the European stock markets. In more detail, the General Index rose by 0.87% at 1,423.74 units (FTSE Large Cap: 1.11%, FTSE Mid Cap: +0.47%, Banks Index: +1.75%) and the traded value was shaped at EUR 105.6m, up from Monday’s EUR 81.0m. We expect ATHEX to move in line with the international markets today, with CENERGY in focus today.

PDMA announced that it will tap the markets today with EUR 250m through the reopening of the existing 5-year bond with a 3.875% coupon.
Overall Import Price Index (MPI) decreased in August
According to ELSTAT, the Overall Import Price Index (MPI) in Industry in August 2024 recorded a decrease of 4.3% y-o-y, while in August 2023, the MPI had recorded a y-o-y decrease of 14.6%. The 4.3% y-o-y decrease of the MPI was mainly driven by the 10.5% y-o-y decrease of the Energy products sub-index while the durable consumer goods sub-index rose by 0.9% y-o-y. Over the twelve-month September 2023- August 2024 period, the MPI decreased by 4.1% compared to the September 2022- August 2023 period.

GEKTERNA and Titan Cement win a EUR 202m PPP tender
According press the JV Terna Energy-Titan Cement that was the sole candidate, was selected as preferred bidder in a tender for a waste management unit for the Western Sector of the Region of Central Macedonia budgeted at EUR 202m with capacity to handle 300K tons. TERNA has also won the tender for the construction of a Treatment Unit to handle 150.2K tons for residual mixed Municipal Solid Waste and pre-selected organic waste of the Eastern Sector of the Region of Central Macedonia with a budget of EUR 241.8m. It is recalled that the waste management business was excluded from the sale agreement of TERNA Energy to Masdar and will be transferred to GEKTERNA.
Lamda Development and Trade Estates sign a preliminary notarial deed for the sale of divided (horizontal) properties of the Retail Park
LAMDA Development announced that on 14.10.2024 it signed a preliminary notarial deed, for the sale of divided horizontal properties, with TRADE ESTATES, regarding the development of a “Retail Park” in the Commercial Hub, where The Ellinikon Mall, will be developed for EUR 31m, with the total estimated investment for the development at EUR 75m. With the signing of the preliminary notarial deed, an amount of EUR 4.5m was collected, while 75% of the total consideration is expected to be collected within 2025 and the remaining amount upon completion of the project.
Intracom Holdings bought Intralot shares
Intralot announced that Intracom Holdings purchased on 15 October, 100,000 common shares of Intralot at an average price of EUR 1.0905 and for a total value of EUR 109,053.17.
The market gained momentum towards the end of the trading session, closing 0.8% higher, on EUR 105m turnover. good day for banks, the banking index rose 1.7%, with Alpha and Piraeus up 2.5% and 2% respectively, Eurobank recorded 1.6% gains, followed by NBG +1.4%, while Bank of Cyprus slipped 1.8%. PPC outperformed marking a 4.2% increase, Aegean was up 2.2%, Sarantis rose 1.8% and Jumbo recorded 1.5% gains. OTE moved modestly lower -0.6%, while Metlen, GEK Terna, Lamda and Motor Oil finished marginally below the flatline.

BANKS
Bank of Greece set the O-SII for 2025 for the four systemic banks at 1% (NBG, Piraeus, Alpha) and 1.25% for Eurobank at a consolidated level (1.0% at a parent level).
ATHENS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT <AIA GA, OW>
We upgrade Athens International Airport (AIA) to overweight with an increased Price Target of EUR 9.4/share (from EUR 9.2/share previously). We think the weak share price performance since the IPO (-7.8%) offers investors the opportunity to gain exposure to a defensive long-term story with a steady stream of dividends and sustainable yields of over 8.0% (and 10.6% out of 2024E earnings).

Cenergy Holdings announced that the total valid demand for the offer was 65.8m shares, oversubscribing the 22.2m new shares by nearly 3x. The offering was allocated 80% to institutional investors and 20% to retail and / or qualified investors. The new shares will commence trading today.

Reportedly, NBG will proceed with a new VRS plan in the first two weeks of November targeting 400-500 employees.
LAMDA DEVELOPMENT <LAMDA GA, OW>
Lamda announced that further to the MoU, it signed a preliminary deed for the sale of horizontal property to Trade Estates for the development of the retail park in the commercial hub in Ellinikon. The retail park will include ‘big boxes’ with international tenants, including IKEA. The transaction consideration is EUR 31m.

Market Comment // Trading mostly in positive territory throughout Tuesday’s session, the Greek market settled near its intraday highs, at 1,423.7 points, gaining 0.87%. Friday’s trade activity totaled €105m, below the 100-day moving average of €120m. PPC led gainers surging 4.2%, followed by Profile (+4.1%), Alpha Bank (+2.5%), Aegean Airlines (+2.3%) and Piraeus Bank (+2.1%), while Sarantis (+1.9%), PPA (+1.9%), Autohellas (+1.7%), Eurobank (+1.6%), Jumbo (+1.6%), NBG (+1.5%), Thrace Plastics (+1.3%) and Viohalco (+1.1%) also posted strong gains of >1%. Conversely, Bank of Cyprus fell 1.8%, with Premia (-0.7%), OTE (-0.6%), Metlen (-0.3%), Gek Terna (-0.2%), Elvalhalcor (-0.2%), Lamda development (-0.1%), Dimand (-0.1%) and Motor Oil (-0.1%) also posting minor losses. Cenergy // The 22.22m new shares from the €200m capital raising are set to commence trading today. Of these new shares, 80% were allocated to institutional investors, with the remaining 20% allocated to retail investors. The book was oversubscribed by almost 3x, with total demand corresponding to c66m shares (namely near €590m at the offer price).
GEK Terna // Secured two major waste management projects in Central Macedonia, worth a combined €450mn. The first project involves the construction of a waste processing facility in Western Thessaloniki in partnership with TITAN, while the second one focuses on building a waste processing unit in Eastern Thessaloniki.
Trade Estates – Lamda // Following the execution of the MoU, Trade Estates signed a preliminary agreement for the purchase of divided horizontal properties by ELLINIKO S.A. (subsidiary of LAMDA Development S.A.) for the development of a Retail Park at the Commercial Hub. The total transaction price amounts to €31m, with the overall investment estimated at €75m. Of the €31m to be received by Lamda for the land plot sale, €4.5m has been collected while another c€19m has been penciled in for 2025. The remainder will be collected upon completion of the project.
